Social Skills Mentors

Cranbourne West Primary School

Cranbourne West, VIC

Posted 3/6/2018

Social Skills Mentors provide social/emotional support to students who might be shy, anxious or have difficulties making and mainatining friendships.  Mentors can assist in our 'Club House' program which runs at recess and lunch times. Club House is a place students can come if they feel lonely or worried.  They can play card games or board games or just chat with mentors.

Mentors will help to set up and pack away equipment as well as providing a 'friendly ear' to students who'd like to talk.  They will be supported by teachers on yard duty as well as by the school's Parent & Community Liaison.
