Donate 2 Drive LTD is a nonprofit organisation striving to help all learner drivers gain confidence and safety on our roads. Through mentored lessons, education and our soon to be added health and wellbeing programs, learners are able to access the much needed help, no matter their age. 
This is where we ask the community for their help, by volunteering as a mentor driver, you are not only making our roads safer you are providing a direct pathway for learners to become confident on our roads. 
From as little as an hour per week, fortnight, or month, you can make a huge difference.

Volunteer Driver Wanted – Help Us Move Food & Hope!
Transit Soup Kitchen & Food Support is looking for caring volunteer drivers to join our team!

Each week, Transit provides free sit-down meals and grocery support to over 1500+ people in the City of Casey. But before we can serve, the food needs to get to us — and that’s where you come in!

• What’s involved?
  Picking up donated food from local supermarkets, bakeries, and suppliers
  Delivering groceries and supplies to our Narre Warren base
  Being part of a friendly, supportive team making a real difference in our community
• What you’ll need:
  A valid driver’s licence
  Confidence driving our van (as easy as driving a car!)
  A current Working with Children Check (free to apply for volunteers via Service Victoria)
  A few hours spare each week to give back

Our Social Connections Program supports people aged over 65 to get back to the things they love and reconnect with their community through Volunteer Engagement.

Our Social Connection Program is led by Volunteers, who provide meaningful support through a range of activities including:

• Centre-based activities
• Community Transport (Grampians)

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community?

This dynamic role will allow you to improve the social connections within your local community whilst getting to know new and interesting people with lots of life experience to share!

The role will involve providing short term social engagement to customers living in an area whilst they wait for a longer term volunteer connection. Each visit may entail checking in on 3-5 customers for a quick chat and catch up.

The successful applicant will have the availability and openness to visit and connect with multiple customers across the course of the week/fortnight. Time management will be essential to ensure that regular contact with customers is provided.
Access to a car is highly desirable. Opportunities for fuel reimbursement available.

Maureen has always loved eating out, although since losing her license hasn’t been able to get out as much. Maureen describes herself as quick witted and a bit of joker! Maureen would love to connect with an outgoing volunteer with a good sense of humour to spend time sampling the menus of new restaurants and cafes. Uniting Social Support Program keeps people connected to the community to support them to live a happy and healthy life. The program assists people to keep doing the things they love.

We require friendly, fun loving volunteers with a strong understanding of professional boundaries  to assist in the facilitation of the Hallam Morning Melodies group. The group provides a recreational and social outlet for participants. The role will require you to draw on your group facilitation skills while supporting people to build valuable connections and enjoy group activities as part of their social goals.

The selected applicant will have effective communication skills and demonstrate confidence to facilitate and support group discussion and participation. Be prepared to use your own vehicle to provide transport assistance to consumers with reduced mobility, who may require the use of a four-wheel walker or stick.

You'll have respect for diversity and support a positive interaction between participants in the group, and the skills and confidence to work independently. Do you have a sense of fun and storytelling?

Our Education Guides are friendly and enthusiastic volunteers who support our education officers with guided school groups. Student needs are at the heart of everything they do!

You will need to interact with students, assist in workshops and enhance the teacher and student experience while making the experience fun, enjoyable and safe for students.

No prior teaching experience is needed, so if this is a field that interests you, why not start here! Training provided.

Puffing Billy Railway is one of Australia's oldest best-preserved heritage steam railways in the world that offers a range of unique volunteer opportunties. 

Do you love being in the great outdoors? This could be the role for you to help with the beautification of our gardens and parks in the station precincts as a Gardening Team Member.

Our station precincts require manicuring and some tender loving care to ensure that the parks and gardens look pristine for our local and international visitors to enjoy. 

No prior qualifications required, training provided. 

If you have a green thumb and gardening is your thing, we think you might love to contribute to this team of enthusiastic and hardworking volunteers!

She would like to share conversation with a friendly Mandarin speaking volunteer and is looking for a female volunteer who would be interested in going to local shops.
