On Saturday 7 Septemebr, Wilson Botanic Park Berwick will host the annual Casey Garden Expo.
Visitors will enjoy stunning garden displays, landscape show gardens, sustainable living ideas, a wide variety of plants available, latest garden trends, garden décor, kids activities and garden presentations.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from people who wish to volunteer at this event. Volunteering opportunities exist for a variety of roles such as assisting the photographer, pedestrian marshals, bump in / bump out assistants and participant survey assistants.

To provide support to a multicultural group with supervision of preschoolers
Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Support parents in supervision of children's play
2. Read stories and encourage English conversation
3. Care for toys and encourage famililies to pack up
Qualifications, Skills, Experience
1. Enjoyment of preschool children
2. Understanding of safety and developmental needs
3. Aware, sensitive and respectful of cultural differences

The children are in the same room as their mothers and they are ultimately responsible for their care, this is a support role. Would suit someone seeking childcare experience. Weekly commitment during school terms. Two positions available - Tuesday or Thursday afternoon.

What you’ll be doing
As one of our event crew you’ll assist with event setup, packing of gift bags for guests, registering guests, ushering where necessary, collect business cards for our prize draws, roving microphone during Q&A……and did I mention ensuring the overall customer experience is brilliant!
You will play a very key and essential part of making the event run smoothly and efficiently and, most importantly, making sure our guests leave feeling on top of the world.
