Casey Job Advocates - Helping You into Employment

15th Jun

Introducing the Casey Job Advocate service

The Casey Job Advocates program is a free one-to-one service to assist Casey residents with finding work, developing their skills and addressing any work-related issues they are facing.

Casey’s team of Job Advocates will be out and about in the community meeting with residents. They will visit libraries, community centres, neighbourhood houses, shopping centres and places where people gather. Find the schedule here

Who are the Casey Job Advocates?

  • A team of 5 friendly staff who are specially trained to provide special support for residents looking for work or having trouble returning to work.
  • the local face of employment services in Casey, helping to direct jobseekers to the types of support that they need.
  • Advocates will support anyone in the community looking for a pathway to employment or who needs employment-related supports.

How will they help?

Some people may just need simple information on services relevant to their needs or some basic advice. Others may need a bit more time to understand their situation and needs before being referred to services that will help them. In some circumstance, people might need a supported introduction or warm referral from relevant services.
